A note on travel. Each of our properties have their own unique challenges with access. These journeys may not be for the faint-hearted, but offer an immediate sense of accomplishment upon reaching your destination.

Store Point Cottage is located on Swan's Island, 6 miles off the coast of Maine, accessible only by ferry. Ferrries are a wonderful form of transportation but offer challenges such as limited numbers of passengers and/or vehicles, delays due to weather, etc. Additionally, the island features only one small store offering a selection of convenient grocery items. No alcohol or tobacco is sold on the island. There are no restaurants, however there are a few seasonal local eateries via food truck/pop-up shop. This means you will need to plan wisely and shop before boarding the ferry. Our kitchen is well-equipped and you'd be hard pressed to beat the view you'll have during breakfast on the porch.

The Dam Camp is situated in the wilderness of Southern Aroostook county. Access is available by vehicle via a system of dirt roads and trails, approximately 45 minutes off the paved road of Island Falls and Sherman. The nearest parking spot is located 1/4 mile from camp, meaning you will need to park and hike or bring along an ATV or snowmobile during the appropriate seasons. Given the limited access, we again encourage that you plan carefully and bring along any and all needs. A small grocery store is available in both Island Falls and Sherman, as well as local restaurants. But we are betting you didn't seek out this vacation for its night life, so just bring your fishing poles and catch your dinner!
